glory of God.

Our History

C3 Church Redland Bay was planted in 2001 by Founding pastors Peter and Linda Grieve as part of C3 Church Global.

They moved from New Zealand in January 1988 with their two daughters, a few bags, and a TV. They faithfully served for 12 years at C3 Lighthouse (formerly C3 Bridgeman Downs) before planting C3 Church Redland Bay.

Peter and Linda also founded The Cage Youth Foundation, which began as the community arm of C3 Church Redland Bay and now operates as its own entity, serving the city for over 20 years.

The Cage Youth Foundation has been at the heart of Redlands, creating a community where every young person and family feels valued, supported, and empowered. “CAGE” stands for Creating A Good Environment—and that’s what they have committed to doing every single day.

In February 2026, Peter and Linda handed over the Senior Pastor roles to Pastors John and Mariska Du Preez.

Our Beliefs

Statement of Faith

As a C3 Church, we believe:

There is one God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.

In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruit and gifts available in the Church.

The Bible as the living word of God - infallible, authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine and faith.

In the existence of an evil spiritual being - the devil.

In the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the “new birth” by faith in Jesus Christ.

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers, with the normal evidence of speaking in other tongues.

In the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.
